Works
We are a custom lighting design studio and handcrafted lamps. Currently, our scope is national, but we are working to have a presence in Europe.
Trained as an architect and lighting designer, I was influenced by my mother’s work as a ceramist. When I decided to create my own professional project, all my creative universes came together. LUZMIXTURA is the mixture of all this, a pinch of eclecticism between the technical, and an interesting mix of materials and textures.
Using traditional craft techniques, I work to create contemporary pieces designed for more current tastes and functionality.
My business objectives are:
Little by little I hope to integrate several artisans into the team with whom to develop processes, and products and even incorporate new materials based on bioplastics.
With my business idea, I hope to preserve traditional craft techniques so that they are not lost and at the same time take from them all the potential and projection of the future as a sustainable production system.
Craftsmanship is for me the new luxury, the material itself no longer has as much value, but rather what it transforms due to its authenticity and exclusivity.
My learnings from the Crafting Business Programme:
The background of experts with specific experience in the world of crafts has been invaluable in perfecting many aspects of the project. Specifically, review the ideal customer, product prices and how to communicate the real value of the brand so that it reaches and impacts.
In relation to the program, what had the most impact on me and my project were, without a doubt, the personalized tutorials. When the projects are already minimally advanced, it is necessary to have more personalized help.
I have changed from my job to where to grow and have restructured my canvas model.
