Registrations are officially open for the second edition of Ceramic Futures – Business and Technology for Ceramic Companies, the training project dedicated to the artistic ceramics sector. Following the success of the summer webinars, this new edition includes three in-presence workshops to be held at Officina Creativa Lab by Artex, at Conventino fuori le Mura (via Giano della Bella 20, 50124, Florence, Italy).
Workshops dates and times:
Each workshop will have a maximum of 10 participants in order to encourage direct and constructive interaction between trainees and professionals. The scientific curatorship of the project is entrusted to art historian Viola Emaldi.
During the three meetings, participants will have the opportunity to learn through practical case studies and receive technical advice from experts. The main topics will include Tuscan majolica, restoration as a living discipline, and topical issues such as sustainability and upcycling. The workshops will offer a valuable opportunity for discussion and in-depth study of innovative and traditional aspects of the ceramic world. At the end of the training course, participants will receive a digital badge certifying the skills acquired and attendance. In addition, the workshops will be streamed live on the Tracks4Crafts YouTube channel.
Registrations are open until October 31, 2024. The course is aimed at ceramists or companies active in the field of artistic ceramics, with a VAT number or registration with the Chamber of Commerce.
