The state of alarm produced by covid-19 has affected all sectors and economic activities in Spain, including the crafts sector. Hence, the University of Granada is carrying out a study whose objective is to generate a detailed report of the influence of the pandemic and the period of confinement in the activity of the crafts sector, which will allow visualizing and knowing the real state of the current situation. The results will be published in the academic field and disclosed to make the situation visible and publicize the particular needs of the sector.
The crafts sector is encouraged to complete an online survey of 30 questions anonymously before June 30, which can be completed in 10 minutes. It can be accessed at the following link: https://forms.gle/Tyshfa4LLraubw8d8
This research is part of the project “MAKER ART: proposal for the digital transformation of the cultural industry related to crafts, through design, collaborative processes and Maker culture”, a project funded by the Andalusian Government and the FEDER program of the European Union, for the financing of RDI projects in universities, in which the Centro Albayzín and Fundesarte also collaborate, among others.
