EOI-Fundesarte will participate in CONTEMPORANIA High Craftmanship Barcelona

From the 28th to the 30th of September, the Palau de Pedralbes in Barcelona will be hosting CONTEMPORANIA High Craftmanship Barcelona, the first edition of the international fair dedicated to developing high craftsmanship and excellence in the field. This event is promoted by the Consortium of Commerce, Crafts and Fashion of Catalonia (CCAM) and organized by Le Departement.

More than 130 professionals from all over the world will present their proposals based on innovation and the artistic vision of contemporary crafts. The selection of Fundesarte will bring 8 artists from different regions of Spain and disciplines: textile, ceramics, glass, wood, feather art, and natural fibres.

There will also be 40 individual artists from 20 countries; 12 winners of prestigious art jewellery fairs worldwide; 23 artists represented by 3 galleries: Siat Gallery, Han Collection, and Rubén Torres Gallery; 33 artists from 5 collectives: Sudakas Chile, JORGC, Bound by Jewellery Czech Republic, A Circulation by Shanghai China, and Sichuan Fine Arts; and finally 26 professionals from 4 international crafts institutions: World Crafts Council Europe, Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda de Catalunya (CCAM), EOI – Fundesarte, and World Crafts Council Africa.

CONTEMPORANIA is free and open to the public, previous registration.

In addition to this exhibition, more than 240 professionals will participate in OFF Circuit, which will host exhibitions in the best galleries and art spaces in Barcelona.
