MEET THE MAKER

I am Valeria Giovanniello young Designer. In July 2019 I obtained the Bachelor’s Degree in Design at the University of Chieti-Pescara, and in July 2022 I completed the master’s degree course in Design at the University of Florence. I deal with Interior, product and graphic design in different contexts. During these university and other years, I fell in love more and more with design that allows me to satisfy my thirst for curiosity in learning about new things.

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO TAKE PART IN iATELIER ONLINE PROGRAMME?

I decided to participate in iAtelier online because I have always been fascinated by the possibility that craftsmen and designers could collaborate and create new objects with new technological levers.

WHAT IS YOUR FEEDBACK?

What interested me most was the approach and collaboration between designers and artisans, and the union between the know-how of the craftsman and the new enabling technologies.

The expert talks was very interesting, in particular the intervention of Viola Emaldi, in which I learned that the world of ceramics lends itself very well to new technologies, creating objects with interesting shapes.

my path to iAtelier Online has certainly influenced my working / design approach, as from this experience I have treasured the collaborative importance with other professionals and the exchange of knowledge.
