MEET THE MAKER

I am a product and graphic designer. My design approach is based on ethics and sustainability (environmental and corporate). I am a technology enthusiast and I like to create simple objects with a high technological content.

I believe that the artisanal processes give added value to the products and that they are efficient. I had an experience a few years ago with a company that was developing products with innovative technologies and it could be interesting to continue this path

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO TAKE PART IN iATELIER ONLINE PROGRAMME?

I would like to participate because I am curious to develop something innovative and somehow unique and compare myself with professionals in the sector and maybe help out. I find that this combination can result in something really positive.

From the collaboration I expected to get involved with the artisan, and that all the protagonists of the project are open to innovation and the new. I hope to be able to immerse myself in the world of craftsmanship and learn as much as possible. Then, as always, communication is very important.

WHAT IS YOUR FEEDBACK?

I liked the idea of involving different professionals from all over Italy, this (in addition to the Expert Talks) meant that interesting and hybrid projects were developed in a short time.

In my opinion the expert talks were certainly useful above all in balancing the basic knowledge within the various groups

I will remember this experience for the strategic vision of the project, which is in line with my design method. It also gave me some ideas to work on in the future.

• Awareness of one’s own means
• Being able to communicate the project clearly
• Constant critical thinking while designing
• Participation in a shared European program
• Zoom platform learning
