ABOUT ME

Formerly graduated as a mechanical engineer in 1998. In 2003 studied decorative painting in the VDK in Brussels and later at the Ecole Mural d’Art in Versailles.

I worked as an independent decorative artist collaborating on international projects with designers and private clients

Paolo studied in Venice initially at the European Centre for Heritage Crafts. He then continued to study & work with Enio Verenini and his family for the next 20 years.

In 2015 Paolo and I, discovered each other’s work on social media. Shortly after we were invited to exhibit at the International Salon for Decorative Painters in Lecce in Italy. In 2016 we formed PIG- MENTTI. We officially launched to the interior design world at Decorex London in 2018 where we were awarded “Best International Exhibitor”

Coupled with this traditional training, between us we have over 60 years experience between us We practice bas relief or relief sculpture, painted decoration, gold leaf and gilding

Now we are concentrating on relief sculpture using 2 specific materials, which require a lot of exper- tise. We also create our own hand made tools for the relief sculpture

We can work off site in studio, but prefer on site to create the best results. Onsite allows us to modify and adapt our design live under tight deadlines. During our down times between decoration projects we are creating our own art pieces, panels and free standing sculpture.

We are interested in iAtelier programme for potential collaborations, to learns from experts and to open our minds to the use of technology

MY SKILLS

Trained in the use of 3D CAD (Autodesk Fusion). Occasionally use this on a basic level.
