MEET THE MAKER
I am self-thought mosaic and ceramic designer. The field counts centuries in my country, though at some point they were forgotten and lost their relevance. In the 21st century, the interest of this field has resurfaced and is gathering strength. I am proud to be one of the first in the revival of modern Georgian mosaic. For 8 years I have been working on artistic mosaics with natural stones, various classical and non-classical techniques, I have implemented several large projects and numerous private orders, On behalf of the company I created: floors, medallions, wall panels and paintings, self-made sketches and reproductions of famous artists. In parallel, I participated in several projects in the field of ceramics.
During the creation, I try to do the whole work myself: starting from the sketch, to the templates and the final look of the work. I love touch and interact different materials. Currently I do not own any business but I have ideas and a desire to be fully engaged in handicrafts. I plan to open my own art-shop in the nearest future and work on mosaic micro mosaic and ceramic directions.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO TAKE PART OF CRAFTING BUSINESS PROGRAMME?
