MEET THE MAKER

My name is Loredana, aka Loreart, I am an artist / goldsmith and I create each of my pieces as if it were a sculpture. I create jewels following my inspiration but also personalized unique pieces for my clients.
I use the lost wax technique to create the element that will characterize my jewels. The creative process continues by welding the different elements transformed into metal. This is how the I PRIMITIVI, FOGLIO, MATERIA, SPACE and VISIONI collections were born: free interpretations of reality. Each collection outlines a specific creative path and a precise search for balance between shapes, materials and colors. Upon request, I create collections designed by other creatives.

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO TAKE PART OF CRAFTING BUSINESS PROGRAMME?

Training “always” helps to make people grow. This proposal intrigues me because it can be an opportunity for comparison with other realities. I am interested in the topics you propose and I think they are in line with the goals I have set myself for the next few years.

WHAT ARE YOUR FEEDBACKS?

I found all the topics interesting and stimulating, especially the meetings on product development, access to markets and financing supports, access to international events and commercial galleries and business planning. In recent years I have struggled to understand how to classify my product, it was neither classic jewel, nor contemporary jewel, nor designer jewel or bijou, perhaps at the end of this course I can think that my product can be inserted in the world of artistic craftsmanship. Surely the course made me reflect on my way of working and organizing work. I was able to identify my strengths and my many weaknesses. Now I’m trying to activate the change!
