I am a craftsman in the field of contemporary or artistic jewellery.
I came to this job encouraged by my mother, about 20 years ago. My evolution in these years occurs in a self-taught way, together with constant research, seeking a unique language that represents me as an artist.
I have my own workshop where I physically create my artistic objects.
My business objectives are:
- I have created several lines of work related to the artisan world of jewellery.
- Sale of products and teaching.
- I hope to create my life plan.
My learnings from the Crafting Business Programme:
- Give value to what I do as a craftsman.
- Learn to think like an entrepreneur and see the functionality of the business.
- How to sell my artisanal product through marketing and business road planning.
- I am in the process of change at a structural level, such as modifying the website and carrying out a marketing plan focused on my product.
My 5 top tips that I have learnt on this journey:
- Have several lines of business to diversify income.
- The important value of craftsmanship and I as a craftsman am the first to give it to them. By this I mean that the artisan always devalues his product, either out of fear, out of fear of not selling, etc.
- How the content on your social networks generates advertising that is free.
- I master several subjects, “music, painting, jewellery” and in the course I have learned to unify them and enhance all that knowledge, since they are added to each other.
- I learned a great deal from the experiences of my classmates in the virtual school forum, with their doubts and the talk or discussion that was generated with this.
