MEET THE MAKER
I am a graphic and product designer, I have been working as an independent designer for about 5 years. In recent years I have worked alongside artisan businesses and small businesses, supporting them in the design of products, services and communication. I try to work alongside projects for the development and protection of crafts, which respect the values of the circular economy, social and environmental sustainability.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO TAKE PART OF CRAFTING BUSINESS PROGRAMME?
I decided to participate in this professional updating program to get new ideas of possible ways of working, keep my knowledge active on the current situation in the field of craftsmanship in Tuscany but also in Italy, and in the rest of the world. To have the opportunity to learn about new business models and possible new ways of development and certainly to network.
WHAT ARE YOUR FEEDBACKS?
I found all the webinars held very interesting, the professionalism of the speakers involved and the breadth of the topics covered. At the end I could only say that I would have liked to have more interaction with the other people involved, maybe I would have added a personal presentation even in the first phase. Beyond this, I think it has been very helpful both for people / artisans who have never faced certain issues, and for those like me who have already heard of them but have been able to dust off many things and deepen them on others.
Personally, the Crafting Business course has helped me and is helping me in reorganizing my strategic vision and in redefining the goals of my business. As a designer working in the artisan sector, he has given me many incentives to reposition my work and ideas on what can be done to support the artisan world, on the types of services and advice to offer.
