AN EXTRACT FROM THE CASE STUDY FOR CRAFTING EUROPE

MIDA is held in Fortezza da Basso, Florence, on 23 April to 1 May 2022, showing the companies news of Italy and internationals related to sectors.  The event took up several spaces, housing more than 400 local and international designers and entrepreneurs, with their handicrafts, which included: handmade jewellery; ceramics; natural leather accessories; wooden decorative items; designer clothes; handwoven carpets. It also included a large exhibition space held by food products (especially cheese, ham and oily fruit products). At the exhibition, you’ll find plenty of samples of textiles, clothing and footwear, jewelry, decor, accessories, as well as food, beverages, and personal care products, with a wide selection of both local and international products.

Great motivation and enthusiasm was felt among the artists: we are all happy that at last there was a direct relationship between us and the customer, which we lacked so much during the pandemic.
We, this market and the research carried out at the exhibition showed us that at this point the technology with the greatest history of partition enamel is little known to the local market, however, when we introduced the history, origin and quality of the products we presented, the managers of the festivals were impressed in different Italian cities and therefore , we received a number of invitations to participate in similar festivals and exhibitions in the future.
