💡Tavs Jorgensen. He is Associate Professor at the Centre for Fine Print Research at University of the West of England. Tavs has a background as a craft potter and designer for the ceramic industry before developing a career in academia. He taught for more than 10 years at the Royal College of Art and has guest lectured at many leading international institutions including MIT and School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Tavs has wide raging research interests including: digital fabrication, glass & ceramics, toolmaking, interdisciplinary research and independent innovation. He is currently in receipt of a Fellowship grant from the Arts and Humanities Research Council investigating new approaches with ceramic extrusion.
