Boniqueira is a figurative ceramic project that has as its starting point the Figurado de Estremoz.

Using traditional modeling and painting techniques, Joana Santos, the ceramist who gives Boniqueira her face and hands, recreates, in her own language, not only some pieces from the traditional Estremocense portfolio, but also her personal interpretation and poetic vision. , new dolls that create bridges between the past and the present and that tell stories in clay.
